From the first sketch to the first reservation

We started from scratch, working together with architect Juan Carlos Menacho’s team to define the expectations of a complete booking platform for future guests, suitable for visits in English and Spanish, and without neglecting the importance of synchronization with booking platforms – Airbnb, Booking, Expedia.

Design and development

When identity comes to life on the web

The style guide was developed from the brand manual, which provided a foundation for establishing the typography, colors, buttons, forms, and overall style of the site. The graphic design needed to showcase the beauty and comfort of the refuge without overusing text, which was achieved by emphasizing the high-quality multimedia content of its facilities.

The WordPress CMS was used, along with custom code and various plugins, to adapt the graphic design for the web. We developed the navigation, pages, and content to meet the objectives of the comprehensive booking platform envisioned from the outset. We were also responsible for creating profiles on the booking platforms, ensuring that all reservations appear on the web calendar for more effective management of the refuge’s operations.

Montefuego opens its digital doors

After several meetings and the delivery of a user manual, the client took control of the new web platform and currently manages all of their reservations, whether through the site or Airbnb, Booking or Expedia.

The team understood our vision and created a platform that reflects the essence of Montefuego. We now manage bookings on our website and other platforms centrally.
